This year our Caring For America Holiday Appeal (items to be brought to our November Christmas Party can be found below) is for Milestones, Inc. Milestones is a therapeutic horsemanship program that presents opportunities for individuals with challenges to enhance their quality of life. They assist each rider to become an innovative and productive member of the community by building independence, self-confidence, and social skills in a safe, fun, and loving environment. Rachel Breeden, Program Director, joined us on Monday at our meeting and said they would be appreciative of any and all donations from the KCRWC! Here are items needed and how you can help:

Three winners will be chosen and awards will be given.

Family, friends and neighbors are always welcome to attend.

As usual, we are asking for donations towards our silent auction and are looking to you for your assistance.  Anything that you could donate would be greatly appreciated. Gift cards to your favorite restaurant, tickets to sports/entertainment events, jewelry, beverages – wine, Bourbon, etc., Republican Party products, are a few suggestions for the auction. Of course, any donation is greatly appreciated!

The Kenton County Republican Women’s Club is hosting a candidate forum on Monday, April 25, 2022 at the Edgewood Senior Center beginning at 7:00PM and ending at 9:00 PM. Doors will be opened at 6:30pm.

The purpose of the KCRWC Candidate Forum is to give Kenton County voters an opportunity to hear Primary candidates discuss the issues of importance to them in this election.

Candidates serving Kenton County and having a May Primary have been invited to attend.

Candidates who do not have a May Primary have also been invited to attend and will be introduced, but not participating in the forum.

This is your chance to meet those running for elected office, hear them speak and compare the candidates. You’ll be able to do some homework so that you are better informed before you vote on May 17th!
