Kenton County Republican Women’s Club 2015 Chili Cook-Off!

We’ve invited all Kenton County Republican legislators, elected officials and 2015 candidates to bring a large pot of their favorite “home made” chili to be judged by our members and guests.

Three winners will be chosen and awards will be given!

You are cordially invited to join the Kenton County Republican Women’s Club

at our Annual Family Picnic ~ 2015 “ALOHA style”!

This year we invite you to our luau without having to travel all the way to the islands! This event marks a long-standing annual celebration of potluck food, live and silent auction items, and entertainment perfect for family and friends!

Doors open @ 6:30pm on Monday, July 27^th  

at the Edgewood Senior Center off Thomas More Parkway.

Cost is $10.00 for ages 12 and up, 11 and under are free … bring your spouse, significant other, kids, family, friends and neighbors.

PRIZES will be awarded for Best Hawaiian Outfit for a males & female attendee!

Also, bring a festive covered dish that feeds 8-10 people —and please bring a serving utensil appropriate for your dish! Remember, the club provides the chicken so we need an accurate RSVP for those attending!

Please join us on Monday, May 15th for the 2015 Mary Middleton Scholarship Presentation!

It is with great delight, that we announce Dixie Heights Senior, Casmir Thornberry as our 2015 KCRWC Mary Middleton Scholarship winner. Mr. Thornberry will attend the University of Cincinnati in the fall of 2015. Beyond his winning essay, his community references describe him as dedicated, driven, determined, kind, passionate, and hard working conservative young man. Congrats Casmir! If you would like to meet and congratulate Casmir, he will be awarded his scholarship at the May KCRWC luncheon on May l8th at 11:30 a.m.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS ONE WEEK EARLIER THAN USUAL DUE TO THE MEMORIAL DAY HOLIDAY!

The Mary Middleton Scholarship is presented annually to a student who understands the importance of civic engagement within the young adult community. The $500 scholarship is named in honor of KCRWC’s founder Mary Middleton, who dedicated over fifty years of service to the organization. A tireless volunteer, Mary devoted significant energies to public and community service.

We will again be hosting this KCRWC event at the Edgewood Senior Center and all Kenton County primary candidates have been invited.

This is your chance to meet those running for elected office, hear them speak and compare the candidates.

Do your homework and be “informed” before you go to the polls on May 19th!

This event will begin at 6:30pm with a wine and cheese reception and the

forum will begin promptly at 7:00pm.

Join us on Monday evening, November 24^th at the Oriental Wok on Buttermilk Pike beginning with a cash bar at 6:30 P.M. and dinner following at 7:00 P.M. The cost for the dinner buffet is $26.00.

We will also have a short business meeting, and immediately following the close of floor nominations, our election and swearing-in of new officers will take place.

Darling Ali from the May Festival Chorus will be delighting us with both vocal and keyboard music.
