IMPORTANT UPDATES/RESOLUTIONS/NEWS:
Dear KFRW Members,
Below is a resolution the Republican Party of KY passed in support of Senator Bunning.
Willee Cooper, KFRW President
RESOLUTION CONDEMNING PRESIDENT OBAMA, SPEAKER PELOSI, AND LEADER REID FOR REFUSING TO FOLLOW “PAY AS YOU GO” RULES, AND COMMENDING SENATOR BUNNING FOR SUPPORTING UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS WITHOUT ADDING TO THE FEDERAL DEFICIT
(Proposed by Dr. Mike MacFarlane on February 27, 2010; AS AMENDED ON MARCH 4, 2010)
WHEREAS, U.S. Senator Jim Bunning clearly supports extending benefits for the unemployed in a more fiscally responsible way than liberal Congressional leaders,
WHEREAS, President Barack Obama, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and Leader Harry Reid have practiced extreme hypocrisy by not following their own “pay as you go” rules, and instead continue to add billions of dollars to the federal deficit, passing this debt on to future generations.
WHEREAS, liberal Congressional leaders and the liberal media colluded to distort Senator Bunning’s view to make it appear as though he did not support extending unemployment benefits when in fact he did support the benefits,
BE IT RESOLVED, the Executive Committee of the Republican Party of Kentucky commends Senator Bunning’s support of unemployment benefits without adding to the deficit.
